Southern Insurance Company of Virginia is headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia, a suburb of Richmond. Southern is a property and casualty insurance subsidiary of Donegal Group Inc. Southern provides products similar to those provided by the other member companies of the Donegal Insurance Group, such as personal lines insurance, farm and commercial insurance. Southern is the servicing company for the Donegal Insurance Group for Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Southern's Virginia office provides claims, underwriting, and marketing business support to our customers and agents.
